Discovery旅遊生活頻道和觀光局合作製作最新一季《瘋台灣》，主持人Janet這季不再自己瘋台灣囉！Janet將帶領外國朋友全台趴趴走，讓台灣的美好風景與豐富的人文，透過鏡頭呈現給全球的收視觀眾。

全新第九季的《瘋台灣》，主持人Janet將為13位老外朋友量身訂做台灣行，根據每個人不同的生長背景設計旅遊行程，例如讓來自加勒比海的Kim， 見識到台灣墾丁國家公園的美，以及小硫球美不勝收的海景與魚群；也讓生長在俄羅斯內陸的Anna體驗划獨木舟看山看海的奇妙旅程，Anna也把初次泡湯經 驗獻給台灣。

另外，來自蘇格蘭Gary，在南投埔里初嚐紹興酒的滋味，而Janet帶著曾經是廚師的他品嚐埔里特有的花餐；而來自蘇格蘭高地的Gary，則去爬合歡山體驗台灣美麗的山嶽。

Brook來自全世界最大的城市紐約，他感性的表示，高雄日落的夕陽和宜人的氣候，讓他聯想到美國的洛杉磯，而台中的人文藝術氣息就像西雅圖，台北步調快速的都市節奏感，就有如他生長的城市紐約。

Janet表示，她剛到台灣時也是個「阿度仔」，以為台灣就等於台北。主持瘋台灣後，發現台灣有太多美麗有趣的地方，自己玩不過癮，要帶其他老外朋友一起全台趴趴走。

Janet和老外友人體驗台灣特有的風土民情，包括八家將、鹽水蜂炮、搶孤等地方著名慶典，而Janet為求《瘋台灣》收視長紅，體驗打屁股改運的習俗，在東隆宮當場挨了十大板，Janet並直呼「我覺得我紅了」。

交通部觀光局長賴瑟珍指出，2003年和Discover合作推出《太魯閣的秘密》後，太魯閣就獲選國外旅客票選台灣觀光景點的第一名。去（2008）年和Discovery旅遊生活頻道合作《瘋台灣》，讓從歐洲來台的旅客成長7%，而以觀光為目的旅客數也成長40%，可見台灣在國際旅遊市場的潛力。

Discovery亞太電視網資深副總裁暨北亞區總經理林東民則指出，《瘋台灣》是具有國際觀的深度旅遊節目，一向堅持以高品質的製播原則，呈現台灣深度的美。
最新一季《瘋台灣》在台灣首播時間為4月26日起每週日晚間8點，亞太地區包括新加坡、馬來西亞、香港、菲律賓、泰國、澳洲、紐西蘭等二十多個國家也可以收看，將有超過一億三千萬的收視戶可看到Janet如何瘋台灣。

♪ Kou Chou Ching/ 拷秋勤
finds inspiration from Taiwan's local materials. They turn to Nanguan, Neiguan, Hakka Ba-Yin, Taiwan Opera, Folk Songs, Taiwanese oldies from the 40s and 70s, and relatively new music. Paying respect to American hip hop sampling Funk and Jazz, Kou Chou Ching look to original Taiwanese music that is fostered on the island, as is pioneering and innovative.
拷秋勤的音樂大量使用來自台灣的本土素材，包括南管、北管 、客家八音、歌仔戲、勸世歌、民謠，以及四十至七十年代的台語老歌 ，甚至於近代的創作歌曲等，都是拷秋勤製作音樂的素材來源 。相較於國外Hip Hop大量取樣Funk、Jazz等黑人音樂素材 ，拷秋勤秉持相同的精神，吸收源自台灣這塊土地滋養的台灣本土音樂 ，特別、特殊之外，也別有一番新意。
